All of the children enrolled in IGO’s early childhood educational program come from extremely impoverished areas where it’s very difficult to find work.
As a result, their mothers often become beggars on the streets (many of whom are homeless) or work as a daily laborer earning less than .50 cents per day
Unable to afford childcare, they search for work carrying children on their backs or by their sides. This makes it even more difficult to find work, which is why they often resort to begging on the streets or doing whatever necessary to survive. These circumstances place innocent little children in danger and often lead to their unfortunate demise.
The Institute for Global Outreach was able to provide over 100 preschoolers with pairs of shoes they desperately needed!
