Giving Chances to Those Who Need Them Most
Welcome,
Since 2007, the Institute for Global Outreach (IGO) has been committed to addressing the urgent needs of children and families living in extreme poverty—beginning in Ethiopia.
Our mission started with a simple but powerful belief: that no child should go hungry or lack access to education. Through partnerships with trusted local NGOs in Ethiopia, we provide essential support—nutritious meals, school supplies, housing support, and educational opportunities—to the most vulnerable communities.
We don’t just serve; we listen. We learn from those we serve so that our programs reflect real needs and create lasting impact.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, IGO has helped transform the lives of thousands of children. But the need is still great. As you explore our work, we invite you to join us—whether by donating, sponsoring a child, or simply sharing our story. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and bring hope where it's needed most.
The children you see in this video are now thriving—but so many others are still waiting for a chance. Every day, an estimated 20,000 children lose their lives to poverty-related causes—lives that could be saved with something as simple as consistent access to food, education, and care.
For just $6.69 a week, less than the cost of a sandwich, you can help change a child’s future. The transformation you see here was made possible by sponsors who chose to say yes to hope, yes to dig
We serve the most destitute in the world through our programs .
This annual 5K run/1 mile health walk provides financial resources for IGO programs.
What gives us hope at The Institute of Global Outreach (IGO) is seeing the difference that sponsorship makes in the lives of children .
Starting with only 30 sponsored children a few years ago, the Institute for Global Outreach (IGO) now supports over 1,000. Supporting our lifesaving work helps bring health and hope to vulnerable children and families in the neediest communities around the world.
